    • Record of Vaccinations and Prescription Medicines (required for international programs!)
    • Limitation of Liability Waiver
    • Permission For Use of Photographic Likeness
    • Program & Travel Policies Agreement (2 pages)
    • Copy of Emergency Medical and Evacuation Insurance (required for international programs!)
    • Copy of Immunization Records (helpful for international programs, but not required)

After registration forms are received, you will be sent a confirmation email. Shortly thereafter you will receive your elearning login information to begin learning more about the history and culture related to your upcoming travel!

 

Cost

The non-refundable program fees are
$2,500     Nicaragua (8-day)
$1,250     Savannah, Ga (5-day)
Submit $250 deposit at time of registration
Submit final balance with registration materials

This comprehensive fee includes shared accommodations, all meals, beverages (excluding alcoholic), excursions, activity fees, gratuities, and professional development training. Your only additional costs would include airfare, parking if you bring your own car, emergency medical and evacuation insurance (approximately $40), passport / visa fees, and any spending money you want to bring to purchase snacks or gifts while traveling.

 

Scholarships

Nobis Project is committed to working hard to make participation in Nobis World programs as affordable as possible. There are a limited number of scholarships up to 50% available for teachers. Because aid is limited, please carefully consider all the resources available that might help fund your trip before deciding how much aid to request. You might be eligible for professional development or faculty enrichment funds from you school. You also might consider applying for grant funds or holding a fundraiser. You can apply for a scholarship by completing the appropriate sections of the registration packet.

Discounts for early reigstration and groups are also available.

 

Who Can Attend?

K-12 teachers, staff and administrators from public, charter, and independent schools are welcome to register. Those studying to become teachers and those who teach in higher education are also encouraged to attend. Space is limited; we can only take between fifteen to eighteen participants on each program.

It is not required for teachers to have any level of Spanish proficiency to register for the Nicaragua program, but we certainly welcome those who do.
