Nobis Project Assists the City of Savannah
JAN 18 2010

The Nobis Project was instrumental in the recent announcement that the city of Savannah has been awarded a highly sought after Cities in Service Leadership Grant, funded by the Rockefeller Foundation. The Nobis Project Executive Director, Dr. Christen Higgins Clougherty, brought this opportunity to the attention of Mayor Otis Johnson, and in collaboration with the city's grant writer, wrote the grant that resulted in the City of Savannah being selected as one of ten cities to receive a $200,000 grant to promote and enhance service and volunteerism across the city.

More information about the coalition can be found at www.citiesofservice.org.
